Let us help the people of the Qur’an overcome hardship

They are young students, teachers, or professors. They have devoted a large part of their lives to the Qur’an: learning it, memorizing it, and passing it on.

Today, several of them are facing very difficult financial circumstances. Some are in debt, others are unemployed, and still others bear heavy family responsibilities, particularly the cost of caring for an ill relative.

Each is enduring a different trial, sometimes heavy and borne in silence. Yet when we meet them, what stands out most is their modesty, their patience, and their immense gratitude to Allah.

These brothers are among those who preserve and transmit an immense body of knowledge: the Word of Allah. Supporting them today will enable them to overcome great hardship and continue on their path with dignity.

Helping a brother repay his debt means relieving a believer of a great hardship.

And the Prophet ﷺ taught that whoever relieves a believer of a hardship in this world, Allah will relieve him of a hardship on the Day of Judgment.
