The answer, with a selection of precious supplications drawn from the Holy Quran.
The Quran is the Word of Allah, Creator of all things, revealed to His Prophet and Messenger Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, for the whole Universe. A treasure filled with treasures to face the life of this world in peace, strengthened by the Words that Allah taught to His Prophets and His favoured Servants.
The most beautiful supplications that one can make, for oneself as for one's brothers and sisters throughout the world, are those drawn from the Holy Book of Allah, inspired by Him to His beloved prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, or those inspired to the prophets, peace be upon them, before him. Conclusion
The number of supplications drawn from the Holy Quran clearly reflects the one on which we should most insist. The sincere request for forgiveness is indeed to be given priority in moments of contemplation, to seek the good pleasure of Allah and His Forgiveness. As the prophetic Tradition attests :
Whoever is diligent in seeking forgiveness (…), Allah will provide for his needs from where he does not expect it.
The request for forgiveness protects from the Punishment of Hell as long as the servant asks it of his Lord. It increases the wealth, the children, the health and the lifespan of the believer.
And above all it brings the love of Allah to the one who multiplies it, for :
(…)Indeed, Allah loves those who repent, and He loves those who purify themselves.
